Futuristic Chic - #FCfindyourlook

"The great thing about fashion is that it always looks forward."
Oscar de la Renta

Hello Beauties,

When I heard about the Fashionchick contest (check out their website: www.fashionchick.de), in which one fashion blogger has the possibility to attend the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Amsterdam (MBFWA) my heart began to beat faster - what an opportunity! First class designers, models, celebrities and international blogger, and of course, fashion, fashion, fashion! Getting to see SO many interesting and inspiring people! It felt like suddenly my dreams since I was a teenager were getting within reach.

The task is set: Create a summer outfit for the Fashion Week Amsterdam and post it on your blog with the hashtag #FCfindyourlook. So let’s get it on!

What am I going to wear? What do I want to express? Well, after quite some time of switching through different outfits and after hundreds of photos, this is my outfit for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Amsterdam (MBFWA):

The most important thing for an outfit for me is that I have to feel comfortable wearing it. If you feel comfortable with your look, this is what you are expressing. And the positivity and self-confidence will draw all the attention on you. For me, Fashion Week is all about timeless chic. This time, I also wanted to add a modern, futuristic touch but still keeping everything classy and clean.

The major component of my outfit is the silver shining jump suit by Zara, which is one of my must-haves for the summer. It can be integrated into a classy outfit, as in my case, but also can be combined with a more casual style and is therefore the perfect all-rounder. I also like the futuristic touch which is induced by the silver colour. It remindes me a little bit of a 70s sci-fi movie. But the absolute highlight is how it looks in motion or when there is even a small breeze. Absolutely stunning!!

I also wanted to add a piece to my outfit that relates to the fashionable heritage of Amsterdam and the Netherlands. So I picked my Zara clogs with black and golden layers and white sole. They fit perfectly in the outfit and also have a little Japanese touch as they are reminding me of the movie “Geisha”. I completed the look with trendy black and white sunglasses and to underline the chic character of my outfit, I also took my Michael Kors clutch for all my daily essentials such as lipstick, phone and mascara.

All in all, I am very happy with my outfit and I would LOVE to present it at the MBFWA! Wish me good luck ladies!

Coral Red Temptation

"Women should be tough, tender, laugh as much as possible and live long lives."

Hello Beauties,

Paris Series Part III! A loose fitted coral red dress which I found in Sale at Manoukian in Paris. Thereto,  I was wearing my suede black high heels and a dark green leather clutch with snakeskin texture which I borrowed from my lovely friend. I decided to add a summerly chic touch by putting on some blue flower earrings. And in a few seconds we're ready to go out!

Street Rock

Lamb's Leather Jacket I Zara
T-Shirt I ISY's
Jeans I Mango
Leather Portemonnaie I ASOS
Suede High Heels I Mango

Hello Beauties,

no one would have imagined it, but finally the warm temperatures have conquered Germany! Everybody is starving for putting on their sunglasses and for going out finding a nice place in the sun. Summer dresses, sunshine, barbecue, … I am happy. What are you looking forward to in the summer?

Today's photos are the second part of my Paris series. The weather in Paris was already pretty nice a few weeks ago. I am wearing a print top from the flagship store ISY's in Munich and my favourite jeans. I love the t-shirt print with the famous photograph of Leighton Meester and Blake Lively (by Terry Richardson). I combined it in a more rockabilly chic way with my black studded lamb's leather jacket. Accessories: black high heels - of course ;) - and an orange leather portemonnaie that was a lovely present from my friends.

And I am happy to announce another wonderful incident: I was so lucky to be chosen to be featured in the first issue of the brand-new fashion editorial and street style magazine Nue Magazine (check out their website: http://www.nuemagazine.com). The premiere issue will be distributed the first week of June 2014 in print version in major US cities such as Los Angeles and New York City as well as online on the Nue Magazine website. If you would like to see me there, please check out Nue Magazine and for more infos go follow them on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

Yellow Season

"It's spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you've got it, you want - oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!"
Mark Twain

Jump Suit I Zara
High Heels I Zara
Jeans Vest I Mango
Bracelet I No Name (Kos, Greece)
Clutch I Michael Kors

Hello Beauties,

hope you are fine and you had a beautiful weekend! And finally - Spring/ Summer! At last springtime has caught us up again and beautiful sunbeams sweeten our day. Corresponding I would like to present you a summerly look that you can wear both during the day and in the evenings at a party outdoors.

The white jump suit is the highlight of the whole outfit. I was attracted at once by the cutout detail at the back. It adds a sophisticated touch that is captured again by the black high heel sandals and the black leather clutch. The jeans vest eases that elegant look. Ready to go out?

A touch of China

"Flowers may bloom again, but a person never has the chance to be young again. So don't waste your time."
Chinese saying

Coat I Zara
Jeans I Mango
Crop Top I Zara
Biker Boots I Akira
Leather Bag I Coccinelle

Hello again Beauties!

Some time has passed since we met in my last blog post. The last weeks I was travelling a lot (Paris and Abu Dhabi, UAE) and I haven't had the possibility to write another post for you guys but now I am back on the road again with many outfits I shot for you during that time - so let's have a look! ;) My first stop was Paris. I was visiting a dear friend there (check out her blog: http://thesummerberries.blogspot.com) and we were enjoying some happy days and taking a lot of photos of the city - and as you can imagine: of several outfits for you ladies.

On the day of the first look I am showing you, I had a feeling of wearing an easy street style with eye-popping colour elements. I like outfit combinations very much that are mixing different materials and styles. Here I combined my jeans trousers from Mango with the preppy red wool coat that has an exciting pattern that I fell in love with at once. As the weather hasn't got nicer yet, it keeps me nice and warm. The black leather Coccinelle bag that I borrowed from my friend for that occasion completes the look. Now ready for warmer days and some sunnier outfits? ;)
